Experience
Newtown Packaging was established in 1977 giving us over 30 years experience in the market and on operating a company commercially. It has traded continually and profitably from its incorporation.
Now the company is using this experience, knowledge and stability to move the company forward because we understand that what was good yesterday isn’t necessarily right today. However one thing we will not change are our principles of integrity and accountability and good old fashioned customer service.
The company has enthusiastic and dynamic leadership which has lead us into new markets and product offerings, increasing our knowledge and keeping us at the cutting edge of business…making sure you have the best supplier for your needs.
Knowledge
We know our products
Experience brings with it knowledge, but what we do is know our products not just sell them, we know what they can be used for and what they can’t, what works and what doesn’t, we even have learnt of strange applications –useful for thinking outside of the box. Our sales and purchasing teams have regular product training both in house and manufacturer operated courses.
We know our customers
Our sales team will find out from our individual customers what is important to them. Is it delivery, or price or performance?… you tell us and we will do our best to meet your expectations.
We know what they use…. or used to
As well as having a background of what is important to you. We at a glance, are able to see your spending habits to help you plan or warn of any market fluctuations or product changes. We can also tell you what you had 7 months or 3 years ago and all the detail to go with it.
Our IT systems are leading edge especially for a company of our size and in our market. The advantage to you is that even if your regular contact is unavailable anyone else in the office should be able to assist you letting you carry on with what is important to you… your business.
We’ve got it …and yes you can have it now
We have excellent warehousing facilities and as part of IT infrastructure excellent stock control. This is backed up by our own fleet of vehicles.
Local clients can benefit from our same day delivery service if required.
For our customers further a field we use next day parcel or pallet services.
Our knowledge and experience come into play if we have a surge on demand we are able to obtain products from our database network ready for when it is needed.
We don’t just stock… we convert and manufacture what you need
We have in house converting machinery which allows us to supply you tape to your exact requirements, so ‘standard’ sizes can be a thing of the past. If you want you can have pads or shapes made too.
We can also manufacture bespoke cartons on-site. Specialising in small-medium runs, you could have your ‘tailor-made’ boxes same or next day.
We are also able to provide you with custom printed tape on small or large scale.
